Practical advice for hosts

Guest Wi-Fi. Save it once, share it with care.

Most holiday rentals use one guest network. Save its name and password once in Happli. New personal stay links use those details by default; a separate password for every booking is optional.

1. Save the property’s Wi-Fi

In the editor, open the private Wi-Fi and access area. Copy the network name and password exactly and test them on your own device. Public internet information can say that Wi-Fi is available, but must not contain the password.

  • Save one set of property details
  • Check spelling and capitalisation
  • Keep access details out of public text and photos

2. Use a personal link or welcome card

Personal links show released Wi-Fi details during the stay. A printed card can share them inside the property. The QR code for the public guide does not connect a phone to Wi-Fi: a separate Wi-Fi QR carries network details.

  • Public guide: no passwords
  • Personal link: share only with intended guests
  • Wi-Fi card: leave inside the property

3. Change details only when needed

Enable different Wi-Fi details in a stay only if needed. Personal links keep the details released when created. If the password changes later, replace affected links and printed Wi-Fi cards. Happli does not change router settings.

Your questions. Clear answers.

Questions
Do I need a new password for every guest?

No. Saved property Wi-Fi is the default for new stays. Different network details are an optional override.

Will a printed Wi-Fi QR update itself?

No. It contains the details used when printed. Reprint it after a password change. The separate guest-guide QR points to the published guide.
